MARITIME CYBER DEFENSE

The purpose of this paper is to inform about the current state of cyber security in the maritime industry. Maritime security commonly addresses physical security, but now it should include cyber security. Cyber attacks on ships and crew are deliberate disruptions of critical automation systems that cause problems for computer networks. The time is right to make this preventive move using the latest cyber defense methods to guard against future cyber threats.
