Application of social network analysis in human resource management
Social network analysis (shorter SNA) is a methodology for visualization and researching the structure and relationships of different social networks. The main idea of this work is to analyze real social networks in real organizations and to make some conclusions about the networks. In this paper, we gave two examples of social networks: formal social networks where people behave like they should because their behavior is determined by the formal position in organizational unit and job position ; and informal social networks where people act because they are social beings and they don’t like being alone.
