Tourist offer management and organically grown health food
Changes in life styles and eating habits are constant process in today's postindustrial society. The handicap of modern people is the psychological stress and other burdens that cause the changes in the way of living, in metabolism, food, leisure and fun. The modern human being-tourist insists on less food in terms of quantity, but it has to be presented, offeered and prpared in a healthy way. Organically grown food in Europe and worlwide has become market recognizable. It is to be expected that the tourist destination the tourist will require organic food, also called health food. This paper will present the changes in the way of eating and in the structure of hotel service. Motives that brought the touris to certain destination in Croatia will be defined. Some research will be done on changes that have influence on defining the motives for the consumption of health food in Croatia. Further research will be done on quantity of the food consumptiono in Croatian hotels and the quantitiy of organically grown health food that is consumed in Croatian hotels will be acalculated. The research models are hotels in Croatia. All inforamtion is accessible in the statistical annals of Croatia. Extensive literature is readily available, but the exact facts are less accessible.
