Knowledge-management system development by induction rules
Knowledge-management systems use ontology to represent formal, explicit specification of a business domain. Ontology provides share domain models, which are understandable to both human being and machines. This article explores possibilities of data mining techniques to support the knowledge-management system development. We applied modified ID3 algorithm to domain-relevant data and induced the most informative attributes and rules to enhance and refine the ontology acquisition process.
