NEW EXPERIMENTAL METHOD OF INVESTIGATION THE RARE NUCLEAR TRANSFORMATIONS ACCOMPANYING ATOMIC PROCESSES: BREMSSTRAHLUNG EMISSION IN SPONTANEOUS FISSION OF (252)Cf

High energy bremsstrahlung emission during spontaneous fission of (252)Cf is observed. The new experimental method to detect rare coincident events by digital storage oscillo-scope is used. The gamma-rays with energies up to 60 MeV have been measured (by a BGO detector) in coincidence with neutrons detected by a plastic scintillator. The determination of gamma-ray emission probability up to the value of about 8 x 10(-9) event/(MeV x fission) at E(gamma)=60 MeV is achieved.
