Alergijske manifestacije na hranu kod djece s atopijskim dermatitisom

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is an inflammatory skin disorders characterized by extreme pruritus, chronically relapsiong course and typical distribution. Abnormalities of both humoral nad cellular immunity have been described in patients with AD. AD was the main symptom followed byurticaria and angioedema of food allergy in children. The symptoms change over time, with respiratory disorders, oral allergy symptom, ocular and gastrointestinal problems occuring later. Five allergens (egg, cow'a milk, peanut, soy and wheat) are responsible fore more than three quaters of food allergies in children. Diagnostis procedures in food allergy have a poor reputation. History ia a primary importance. The double-blind placebo controlled food challenge is considered to be the "gold standard" in the assessment of clinically relevant food allergy.
