CORRELATION OF PERCEIVED QUALITY OF LIFE AND MOTIVATION FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY OF STUDENTS SCHOOL FOR GRAPHIC DESIGN AND MEDIA PRODUCTION
This research aims to establish the relationship between perceived quality of life and motivation for physical activity on a sample of 132 pupils of the School of Graphic Design, Design and Media Production in Zagreb. The perceived quality of a student's life is estimated by means of the International Wellbeing Index (IWI) questionnaire and its personal wellbeing index (PWI). The assessment of motivation for physical activity was measured by the performance and outcome orientation questionnaire, Task and Ego Orientation in Sport Questionnaire (TEOSQ). The obtained results did not prove the correlation between perceived quality of life and motivation for physical activity. Statistically significant difference between male and female students was in the 2 TEOSQ variable "Clearly Better / Better than Others" The scientific and practical significance of this research is reflected in the acquired knowledge and a better understanding of the interrelationship of the observed variables in the secondary school population. In this research as statistical methods were used, T-test and correlation analysis.
