IDEAL STIRLING CYCLE IN alfa, beta, gama ENGINES
As it is well known, the ideal Stirling cycle between two isothermal and two isohoric lines, has been never realized. Numerous indicator diagrams, taken from a, b, g engines have considerably reduced the indicator area of an egg-shaped cycle. A reduced indicator area means decreased power as well. The decreasing factor mainly depends upon dead spaces and phase angle, but in the first place upon the selected type a, b or g engine. All three types can be thermodynamically compared on the ground of sinusoidal analysis of volume changes in the course of the cycle.
