Grapho-analytical Method for Condensed Expression of Regenerator Efficiency
The first researches, performed nearly twenty years ago, were grounded upon nine subsequent equations, leading to the thermodynamical efficiency of the wire mesh regenerator. The second analytical deduction include all nine basic equations together, resulting in only one expression. This single formula enables to calculate regenerator efficiency only by using wire diameter, distance between two wires and one common constant which include all remaining parameters. Although regenerator efficiency could be now calculated much faster and simpler, the third formula, here described, is still more condensed and deduced by means of grapho-analytical method. This third and the latest formula contains main parameters of the wire-mesh regenerator in its simplest mathematical shape. On such a way, the main influencing parameters finally appear in the most convenient and clearest possible form.
