Effect of different ways of improvement of feeding rations for piglets

Because of specifical structure of pigs digestive tract, especially when it comes to baby pigs, animal feedstuffs must be composed of higly concentrated digestible nutrients of high quality. There are numerous investigations done with the purpose of finding ways to increase nutritive and energetic values of diets for piglets. One of the ways is to add various biostimulative substances in feeding rations. On the other hand, there is a possibility of preparing some components and complete feeding rations of higher quality. Since both of the previosuly named ways are scientifically based, the purpose of our investigation was to test the individual impact of the added enzyme(s) (experimental group I), thermical process of micronization of some animal feed stuffs in feeding rations (experimental group III) as well as common effect of enzymes and thermically processed pig feed for weaners (experimental group II). The results of our investigation show the following: when the quantity of feeding rations was consumed at approximately same level in both experimental groups and the control group, better feed conversion was established in experimental groups (the best results were obtained in the experimental group II, 10% lower than results obtained in the control group). Daily weight gain and body weight were also recorded in different phases and the results obtained were better in all three experimental groups. Weaners from the second experimental group were characterised with the highest body weight, which was statistically significant (P<0.05) with regard to the experimental group I and the control group. Weaners from the second experimental group were also characterised with the highest daily weight gain, which was statistically highly significant (P<0.01) with regard to the experimental group I and the control group. When it came to the daily weight gain, positive results obtaned in the third experimental group were statsitically significant. Weaners from the second experimental group were characterised with the highest body weight, which was statistically significant (P<0.05) with regard to the experimental group I and the control group. Concerning the evident positive effect of the common impact of the two tested treatments (enzymes and micronization), this ways of animal feed stuffs in weaners' feeding rations are, according to our opinion, justified and should be produced and used commercially.
