The friction angle is a very important coeffiction for the estimation of the slope stability in the rock mass and the coefficients with the greatest influence on the friction angle are the basic friction angle and the joint roughness coefficient. Consequently, it is very important to know the range of those parametars and their influence on the friction angle.
