Abstract:	R&D cooperation and innovation contribute to growth of companies and entire nations. Insufficiency of research on R&D cooperation in Croatia is evident, since only one research on R&D cooperation of foreign SMEs was conducted in Croatia. Paper presents results for manufacturing sector based on EMIS data from 2008 and results show that cooperation exists ; cooperation differs across industries and size of the companies and cooperation differs if it contributes to radical innovations as opposed to only modifications of existing products.
