Implementation of global navigational satellite systems (GNSS) in daily land surveying has huge imapact. Today it is hard to imagine going to the field without using some king of GNSS measurment. One of those methods is static. Its implementation ashures high accuracy (considering other methods). For achieveing that kind of accuracy method istelf is not enough, You need post prcessing software which can process and evaluate measurments. On the market there are open spurce and commercial programs. At the very beginning manufacturers of receivers made there own software with there own format type. Interoperability was impossible, so to avoid that obstacle RINEX format was introduced. Furthermore besides prorcessing data some programs were given educational component. One of those is GNSS Lab-Tool (gLab). In this paper its strong and weak points will be evaluated through series of tests and comparison with commercial software. Also potentional application in practical lectures on course: „Satelitsko Pozicioniranje“ of GNSS-Lab tool will be assessed |
