New Device for Body Moments of Inertia Measurement Using Torsion Pendelum
Measurement devices for measuring body Moments of Inertia are usually based on dynamics lows related to stationary or periodic rotational motion. Today, becouse of design simplicity and linear spring characteristics, devices based on torsion spring are commonly used, even for very large bodies. This paper describes one of these devices designed completely new, with automated and computer controlled measurement process.
