DECREASE OF INFLUENCE OF TRANSIENT GROUNDING POTENTIAL RISE ON THE SECONDARY CIRCUITS IN THE HIGH -VOLTAGE SWITCHGEAR INSTALLATION
The paper describes influence of the transient grounding potential rise on the secondary equipment in the high-voltage switching substation. The study comprised theoretical considerations, computer simulations and laboratory testing of the secondary protecting devices. Correct construction of the grounding system can considerably reduce the influence of the transient grounding potential rise and decrease the danger for the secondary circuits
