Influence of Burner Load Distribution on Furnace Behavior
In this paper the 3D mathematical model of processes in the steam generator combustion chamber has been used for investigating influence of different parameters on the combustion chamber overall performance, especially on flue gas exit temperature. The combustion chamber of a real 1000 t/h oil-fired steam generator has been modeled in order to improve its working efficiency by applying simulation results. It has been shown that inclination of burners may be used for controlling flue gas exit temperature in a manner that a negative burner angle, pointing downward, lowers the temperature for 20-30 aC. By changing the amount of excess air introduced into the combustion chamber, the flame length can be changed. That will also produce different flue gas exit temperatures, but the influence is weak and this method can not be justified for controlling the exit temperature.
