Modelling and Simulation of the Plastic Forming Force of Thin Walled Profiles From a Strip
The forming of thin-walled profiles is based on gradual material forming in the form of strip by passing it between a series of rotating rolls. The basic influential parameters of forming force profiles, that is: angle increment of bending strip, material of strip, thickness of strip metal, tool adjusting and tribology-friction of tool contact by strip. The force forming modelling has been performed for the three variables of process: profile forming angle (alpha), material thickness (s) and yield strength of material (sigmaf). The obtained mathematical model describe well the forming force of profiles and tool loading. The force simulation of process of a cold forming profiles has been performed by applying a stochastic modelling and software package MATLAB
