HUMAN METABOLISM DATABASES

Searchable Human Metabolism Databases are based on an approach published by S. Rendic, Drug Metab Rev, Special issue on Human P450s, 34 (1&2), 83-448 (2002), and used for the web searchable Database available at www.gentest.com. The Excel formatted single databases (Human P450 Metabolism Database, Human Transporter Metabolism Database, Human P450 Kinetic Metabolism Database, and the Database Containing the Structures of the Substances described as substrates, metabolites, inducers, inhibitors and/or activators) are comprised in a way to enable the users easy and quick approach to the latest data on the human metabolic reaction(s) for a given substance. For instance, the Human P450 Metabolism Database contains information on 42 human CYPs. Besides searching the single database, the databases are formatted also in a way that enables to get the data on the particular substance contained in all four databases, by a single search. Use of the PC when searching the data will be presented.
