The efficacy on an experimental vaccine prepared in the form of a water-in-oil-in-water emulsion and containing the surface proteins of Newcastle and infectious bronchitis viruses and whole particles of egg syndrome and infectious bursal disease viruse was tested in light and heavy hens. Pullets were vaccineted prior to the laying period, and humoral immune response was monitored during the whole laying period.
