Sažetak:
We have investigated the temperatures in the atmosphere of the cool component of CH Cygni by use of highly resolved optical and near infrared spectra taken in a short epoch of the 1998-2000 active phase. The TiO absorption bands belonging to α , γ , γ ', β , δ , φ and ε band systems with partly resolved rotational structure have been studied. The vibrational temperatures were obtained from the relative intensities of vibrational band heads. The rotational temperatures have been estimated from the synthetic spectra obtained under assumption of LTE and by taking into account the known molecular structure of a specific vibrational band. In order to determine the effective temperature we used model atmospheres appropriate for M giants and computed synthetic spectra by line-to-line approach.
