Divorces in the European Union - Brussels II Regulation

The author gives the reasons for creating Brussels II Convention, and subsequently Brussels II Regulation. She also compares these two instruments with other instruments which regulate a problem of "international" divorces. After giving an overview of main provisions of Brussels II Regulation, author examines the future possible developments in the field.
