AHP-MODEL OF FORESTRY MANAGEMENT

Ecological and economical value of Croatian forests is growing, as well as the possibilities of implementation of operational research methods in forestry management. Multicriterion analysis can improve the decision making process in forestry management. One of the newest multicriterion decision making process is analytical hierarchical process - AHP. This method is based on exact mathematical basics but it is easy to understand and to implement. It has a good computer program support as well. This paper is research on possibilities of implementation of AHP method in forestry management decision making process.
