Enlargement of the EU - Impact on Croatia

The paper examines possible economic impact of the next EU enlargement on Croatia and analyses alternative options to participation in the integration process. The focus is on Croatia, but some effects of the enlargement are examined through different perspectives - from the perspective of regional and subregional associations. After comparative analysis of possible impacts of the enlargement on different groups of countries, the paper evaluates options for Croatia's participation in the integration process. Two basic options are tested - entering the EU directly or via some other regional integration.
