The After-Life of Drama: Ivana Sajko's Trilogy "The Woman-Bomb"
The paper discusses Ivana Sajko's trilogy which creates a kind of "after-the-fact" drama, a (fictional) report on (real) performances whose "explosions" seem to have already taken place: of a worn-out actress-everywoman who is disgusted yet propelled by the role of Medea, of an already blown-up female terrorist, of an allegorical Mommy Europe riding, just as her fictional predeccessor, Brecht's Mother Courage, on the waves of the global war-threat.
post-dramatic theatre; Sajko; female solo-performance
