Motor skills of Boys and Girls at the Age of 9 and 10
Transversally research was conducted on a sample of 150 boys and girls in their second and third grade of primary school in Zagreb showed that there is a significant gender dimorphism at an early school age, and growth and development including changes of motor skills. Factor structure of the discrimination function at the age of 10 shows domination of measurements of flexibility in the girl subsample and high jump in the male subsample. The proven gender dimorphism should be taken into consideration when applying the workload in all organizational forms of work with these age groups.
