Blade Geometry and Pressure Distribution Visualization by CFView Method
Following the today's demands of applying the accurate construction plan data presentation of sophisticated screw propeller solutions, here are presented the possibilities of applying the CFView visualization method developed at the Fluid Mechanics Department at the Free University of Brussels, Belgium. An accurate analysis regarding radial and circumferential blade specific pressure distribution can also be achieved by the CFView graphic method supported by theoretical algorithms and numerical grid method solutions. An experimental model of plan blade with variable profile section geometry and pitch in accordance with the first Sparenberg's physical propeller model with three tip plated blades, that was tested in the cavitation tank of the University of Delft, Holland, was designed at the Technicall Faculty Rijeka, the University of Rijeka, Croatia
