The present template is the main document for providing detailed information on the RTD and innovation policy management, the scientific background as well as the needs and requirements of the industrial communities in the three partner regions. The information gathered will create the basis for carrying out the cross-regional analysis in Work package 3 and for setting the framework for initiating future concerted policy and research strategies. The template is divided in three main parts: 1. Regional Policy Map 2. Regional Scientific Map 3. Regional Industrial Map While the first part, the regional policy map, can be elaborated straight away thanks to the direct participation of regional policy makers to the project, the second and third activities require the approaching of further not directly in the project involved scientific institutions and industrial players, so as to be able to illustrate the actual state of play of the maritime sector in each region and reflect the performances of regional actors as well as their necessities in the best possible way. For the further development of the project activities, it is important to follow the instructions in the template order to guarantee a comparability of the data gathered for each region.
