Some open problems related to the Hilbert type inequalities

Although it originated at the beginning of the 20th century, Hilbert's inequality is still of a great interest. The purpose of this paper is to review some open problems in determining the best possible constant in the Hilbert type inequalities with, for the most part, non-conjugate exponents. We also give some (bias) account of the recent results in this area.
