Sažetak:
In a conducted study “ Students’ attitude towards e-learning” a random sample of 45 students from three different college orientations at the University in Dubrovnik participated: Economy, Aquaculture, and Media and culture of society. A survey showing attitudes towards e-learning was made, and it generated satisfactory metric characteristics. The goals of the research were to question the following: what are students’ habits concerning work on the computer and previous experience with e-learning ; are there any differences in students’ attitude toward e-learning considering gender, college orientation, previous experience with e-learning and computer literacy. When it comes to students’ habits related to work on the computer and the use of the Internet, it was shown that the majority of students have a basic level of computer literacy (28), while others (one third of the respondents) use the computer to an advanced level. Moreover, two thirds of students (28) have had previous experience with e-learning. The differences in attitudes towards e-learning with regard to the gender were not determined. However, significant differences in attitudes were found with regard to the college orientation, previous experience with e-learning and the level of computer literacy. More competent use of computer and previous experience with e-learning resulted in a more positive attitude towards e-learning, and students of Media and culture in society have a significantly less positive attitude towards e-learning in comparison to students from other college orientations.
