U razdoblju od 1993. do 2006. godine Cargo promet Zračne luke Zagreb porastao je za 66, 74%. Prosječno učešće Cargo prometa Zračne luke Zagreb u ukupnom Cargo prometu zračnih luka Hrvatske u istraživanom razdoblju iznosilo je 85, 35% dok je prosječno učešće u prometu putnika bilo 51, 90%. Na razvoj Cargo prometa utjecao je niz faktora. U ovom radu autori su postavili cilj utvrditi postojanje veze između opsega Cargo prometa Zračne luke Zagreb u istraživanom razdoblju te drugih odabranim ekonomskih pokazatelja. Temeljna je hipoteza da postoji visok stupanj pozitivne korelacije između opsega Cargo prometa i stupnja ekonomske aktivnosti Hrvatske u razdoblju od 1993. do 2006. godine. Primjenom statističke metode korelacije ranga proučava se kvantitativna određenost pojava. Od posebnih znanstvenih metoda spoznaje primijenjene su metode: konkretizacije, klasifikacije, analize i sinteze, induktivno-deduktivna i metoda dokazivanja u procesu zaključivanja. Zaključuje se da postoji visoka pozitivna korelacija i izrazita povezanost opsega Cargo prometa i jednog segmenta gospodarske aktivnosti, a to je izvoz. During the period 1993 to 2006 Cargo traffic on Zagreb Airport was growing for 66, 74%. The Zagreb Airports’ average share in total Croatian Airports’ cargo traffic during that period was 85, 35%. In the same time the average share of passenger traffic was 51, 90%. There was many impacts on former cargo traffic development on Zagreb Airport. The target which authors of this paper set up is to define existing of connection between the volume of Zagreb Airports’ cargo traffic in period of researching and other selected economic indicators. Basic hypothesis explains that in period from 1993 to 2006 there was high positive correlation between the volume of Zagreb Airports’ cargo traffic and Croatians’ economic activity. Unless of using the statistical method of rank correlation as a method for quantitative classify researching, authors using few particular methods of scientific cognition, such as: concretize method, analyses, synthesis, induction-deduction, assertion method in process of conclusion making. The conclusion is: high rank correlation and extremely connection exists between the volume of Zagreb Airports’ cargo traffic and one part of economic activity, the export.
