Treatment and services for mentally retarded persons with mental disturbances in the Republic of Croatia

This paper presents an overview of research of persons with disabilities and their integration in Croatia. Special attention has been given to the Faculty of education and rehabilitation sciences, Mental retardation department. The author also reviews effects of war and its consequences on persons with disabilities in Croatia.
