The paper deals with relevant features of a sophisticated navigational and particular goals to be achieved in the use of the simulator have been defined from the nautical point of view. in order to fully satisfy the previously quoted objectives, a basic requirement has been set, i.e. each simulation exercise and act should be supporetd by a through listing of selected numerical and graphic data. Together with it, some minimum operational requirements for such a simulator have been placed.
