Successfull design of polymeric products is a very complex task. Polymers allow a higher level of design freedom then any other material. On the other hand, the final product properties are strongly affected by the part design and processing. Therefore, the polymer selection can be very complicated and guidelines. The designers knowledge of all of variables is of the greatest importance for success of failure of the product. On some examples of application, the selection of suitable polymeric material according to set requirements, is presented.
