Embedded FPGA Web Server Interface for Wireless Control of Motor Drive

This work presents simple wireless WiFi accessible web server with web interface that provides control of different types of systems connected on embedded system. Wireless control is created on software platform provided by Altium with modified OpenBSD driver framework. Web server is created on the top of the lwIP which is simplified implementation of TCP/IP protocol suitable for embedded systems. Represented embedded system, implemented in FPGA of development system NanoBoard 3000, provides wireless connection through IEEE 802.11 standard. As example of possible uses we created PWM control interface for controlling rotation speed and direction of DC electric motor. This work describes control principles, hardware and software solutions for embedded system realization.
