Education in psychooncology

Psychosocial oncology is shown as a scientific and applied discipline aimed at study of psychological, social and behavioural aspects in treatment of oncologic patients. Psychooncology is presented within a broader scientific field of educational and rehabilitation sciences. Some forms of educational programs in Croatia and worldwide are presented, as well as some fields of scientific and clinical research and an initiative for the formation of the psychosocial oncology chair at the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation, University of Zagreb.
