Calculation of heating and cooling of steel ingots by combined splitting and boundary element method

The main idea of the present work is to replace a finite difference algorithm by boundary element one to improve a calculation accuracy. New algorithm with previous partial approximation of time derivative by finite difference is proposed in the present work. As a result, effectiveness of whole algorithm is sufficiently improved. The proposed approach is illustrated by several examples of numerical calculation.
