Sažetak:
It is unimaginable to run modern production without the possibility to somehow guide and control the functioning of the entire production system - a rolling mill production system in particular, as a modern profile bar production on a rolling mill should be flexible enough to support more than one change of profiles in a single day. In other words, more than one pair of rolls, guides or even whole rolling mill stand could be replaced several times during a single production day. We shall present one of the ways how to approach this problem. We will describe the rolling mill production workflow and how the various levels of automation can be incorporated, what type of information should circulate, where the data collecting points are and how these informations are to be processed. Our main focus will be on data acquisition system. The structure of the system and the mechanisms of data acquiring with prevention from data loss shall also be explained.
